I WORK FOR ME, NOT FOR YOU!

The worst feeling in the world is having someone around you who constantly feels like they are entitled to something. Like you owe them something when in reality all you really owe them is a kick in the ass and maybe a good cursing out. I’ll start off by saying this…you don’t owe a person a dang thing unless you just want to give it to them. For example men start marrying these women who think that they’re supposed to be taken care of because “the bible says it”. NEWS FLASH yes the bible says the man is supposed to work but nowhere in there does it say that while the man works you do NOTHING. Men start that mess in the beginning by trying to win her over with gifts and fake lies of “baby you don’t have to worry about a thing I GOT THIS”. Which in translation means (I’ll spend all this money on you now because I’m trying to make an impression but little do I know you’re going to get used to it and not want to work). Then you have those family members who think that because you’re family that means you should want to help them. Yes, helping your family is good but when that family member is doing absolutely nothing with their life that’s when you have to draw the line. Everybody has that uncle or aunt who is either an alcoholic or drug abuser who always got an issue in their life and needs to borrow money or wants you to buy them something. But you know all they are going to do is abuse it, or u have those parents who were barely there for you as a child but once they see you doing something great in your life they feel like they are entitled to everything you have because “I Raised You”. In fact you don’t owe your parents anything besides respect but don’t get me wrong you should want to take care of your parents because they took care of you. But I’m not talking about those kinds of parents I’m talking about the ones who were never there or they were there but always put some man or woman above you. The ones that when you get grown and do great things wants to be the first one to say they were the reason for it or the ones you love so much that you will do anything for until them until they completely wipe out your bank account because they feel (you should want to help your mama/daddy). That is where you draw the line and say (I Work For Me, Not For You. If helping someone begins to put you in a bind don’t be afraid to say no just because it’s you family because when you are out on your luck they will be nowhere to be found. Or you get those people that get TOO comfortable TOO soon i.e. you meet a man/woman you hitting it off for the first few days next thing you know they need to borrow some money. That comes in where u can be a fool and give it to them or u can risk pissing them off by simply saying (NO). The minute you say (no) will be the minute they’re true colors come out they will either A. Thank you and be cool about it or B. Get pissed and probably never talk to you again. Either way it goes they got TOO comfortable TOO soon. How they heck can you get that comfortable to where you can ask a person you’re trying to serenade for money? The first few days of a relationship is the part where you impress each other even if you “aint got it” you pretend like you got it all. They’ll eventually see they you were just blinding them but even then if a person likes you for you they will like you for what you have instead of what you don’t have. People usually mess themselves up by thinking well if I help them maybe that will make them appreciate me or like me more cause it shows I’m down for them WRONG. In fact that person has already made up in their mind how they feel about you and you giving them money is only adding fuel to the fire of “stupidity”. There’s a difference if you’re giving money to a person because they are trying to better themselves, and they just fell on hard times. But then you get those people who were broke when you met them and don’t have any intentions of getting a job, but because the sex was great or they’re nice to you u fall for the scam. This is where the phrase “I Work For, Me Not For You” comes into play. You work hard every day to be able to buy things and do things for yourself and not to give it to some person who feels like they’re entitled to it. That’s where the 3 F’s come in at (Fuck, Feed, Finance) if you’re not doing any of these in no consecutive order you aren’t entitled to a dang thing. If you can’t manage one of these you better find one that you can and manage it with all your might, this day in age everything is about impression. If a man or woman see’s you about to approach they already have in their mind if this nigga/chick broke he can’t even get a hello. Only problem with this is if you broke your damn self you are not entitled to be picky if anything you should be happy somebody wants to approach your broke ass. So with that being said keep in mind that everything you do in life is for your own happiness and the benefit of your children. No man or woman shall come into your life and feel entitled to anything “just because” if they are benefitting you in some way then it’s only respectful that you benefit them. However; if they aren’t doing anything besides feeling entitled that’s when you tell them “I Work For Me, Not For You”

  1. I agree with you. People do get too comfortable too soon. Relationships move super-fast these days and people want instant gratification when it comes to money, sex and power. No one wants to wait any more and if a person can't get it from you, then they'll just go some where else and find it. It will never change until enough people put their foot down and say "enough is enough."
